Services (Laptops, Calculators, Video on using an eBook & DMV Practice Test)

Laptops are generally distributed during lunch or after school. Students are requested to bring their locator cards or some form of identification to obtain the laptop or their six digit identification number. Students will be instructed to turn on the laptop. Then, the students will be instructed to follow the configuration steps which take 10 – 15 minutes. If there are any issues, Mr. Duncan – Computer Technician will resolve password or other issues. Note: Library is only responsible for the distribution of the laptops not fixing them.

Note: For the 2017-2018 Laptops are issued to 9th, 10th, 11th grade students. 2018-2019 school year all four grade levels will be issued laptops.

Overdrive Background Videos consist of how to use your eBooks —access, check-out, how to use the customized functions –highlight text, bookmark, notetaking, how to export notes to Google Drive, adjust fonts and lighting.

Calculators are available for check out at the Circulation Desk with student identification card or six-digit student number.

3D Printer–sign up your class to get a 3D Printer demonstration. Students can use the 3D Printer with permission. They must get design approval before printing, and maximum 30 minutes to print.
